When COVID-19 hit, it changed everything for our families. We had to respond quickly by adapting how we care. The demand for the outstanding care Richard House provides is increasing and more vital than ever. We need you to help us deliver our care to families who so desperately need us during the most difficult of times. Despite the difficulties posed by COVID-19, therapies continue to be highly valued and important to our families.

As Counsellor at Richard House & Haven House, you will lead the counselling service, holding caseloads and also coordinating annual memory days as well as bereavement anniversaries. You will manage your own caseload of individuals and work in collaboration with the wider care teams to ensure events pertaining to grieving families are held sensitively and with the upmost care. You will be able to demonstrate your exceptional team-working skills, flexibility, initiative, and enthusiasm.

As a valued member of the Community and Wellbeing service, you will join a unique and vibrant team in which collaboration and multi-disciplinary working are celebrated.

In return, we will support your wellbeing and offer you a supportive environment to develop your skills and make a real contribution to service development.

This role will require you to offer blended services, where appropriate at the hospices or virtually where this is the preferred format from clients.
