Sponsor a nurse

richard house nurse

One of the nurses at Richard House Children's Hospice, in Newham, East London

The work that Richard House does in supporting children and young people would not be possible without dedicated and skilled members of staff – our respite & palliative care nurses and our play & care workers.

If you or your company is interested in supporting one of our care staff, either through a one-off donation or as part of your wider support for Richard House, please get in contact with our corporate partnerships team.

In return, you will receive regular updates on the amazing work of our care staff and a great sense of satisfaction that you are helping to make a direct difference.

Any individuals wishing to sponsor a nurse should contact Ben Alonso on 020 7540 0230 or, alternatively, email him here.

Respite & Palliative Care Nurses
The nurses at Richard House provide care and clinical support to the children we care for, delivered on a tailored basis to the special needs of the individual child. The nurses’ work requires flexibility, creativity, empathy and extraordinary responsibility – our nurses are specialists who meet the children’s holistic needs.

Play & Care Workers
Play helps children to develop physically, mentally, socially and emotionally creating positive memories for the future. Play & Care workers provide care for the children, incorporating play as an essential activity for the child.
