Sir Trevor Brooking
Sir Trevor Brooking CBE has been involved with Richard House for a number of years. The former England and West Ham footballer was also the FA Director of Football Development from 2004 until his retirement in August 2014.
Mark Noble
Canning Town-born football star Mark Noble is the longest serving player on the West Ham books. He has been actively involved as a patron since 2011.
Joe Cole
London-born West Ham star Joe Cole has been a Richard House patron since 2004. One of England’s most decorated footballers, Joe Cole has had an illustrious playing career, including scoring 10 goals in 56 England caps.
Jim Fitzpatrick MP
Former government minister Jim Fitzpatrick has been the Labour Party MP for Poplar and Limehouse since 2010. From 1997 to the 2010 election he was the member for Poplar and Canning Town.
Fiona Phillips
Journalist, broadcaster and television presenter Fiona Phillips shot to fame as one of the hosts of ITV's GMTV. She has been a patron at Richard House for a number of years.
Imam Abdul Qayum
Sheikh Abdul Qayum is the Imam of the London Muslim Centre in east London and the East London Mosque. He was first made aware of Richard House in 2008 and in became a patron in 2010.
Colin Salmon
Bethnal Green-born James Bond actor Colin Salmon has been actively involved as a Richard House patron for a number of years.
Imelda Staunton
Big and small screen actress Imelda Staunton OBE has been a strong supporter of Richard House for many years along with husband Jim Carter. She has most notably starred in the Harry Potter film series and Vera Drake.
Stephen Timms MP
Stephen Timms the MP for East Ham and the Shadow Minister for Employment and is also the Labour Party's Faith Envoy. He has a long-standing and active relationship with Richard House.
Tommy Walsh
Tommy Walsh is a recognisable face on TV screens, gaining fame with BBC show Ground Force. He has been a patron of Richard House for a number of years and opened our Path of Life.
Lyn Brown MP
Newham-raised Lyn Brown is the Labour MP for West Ham, which she has held since 2005.
Jim Carter
Downton Abbey star Jim Carter has been a patron of Richard House since September 2013, joining his wife, actress Imelda Staunton OBE, in formally supporting the hospice.

Volunteering

Make a difference at Richard House Children's Hospice by volunteering on a regular basis. We have a range of different roles available from admin positions to reception shifts, journalism and family care roles. For more information call our HR department on 020 7540 0235.

Schools and colleges

Your school, college or university can make a real difference to children in our area by working with Richard House Children's Hospice. We're on hand to assist tailor-made school lessons, sponsored activities and Rag Weeks. For more information call 0207 540 0228.

Jobs
