Football Star Wears Red

England and Chelsea midfielder Joe Cole visited KPMG in Canary Wharf to support a special Valentine’s Day appeal.

Jo meets members of staff at KPMG

Richard House asked its corporate supporters to wear something red to work for a suggested donation of £2.

Joe, a patron of Richard House said: "I was delighted to go to KPMG and Wear Red for Richard House. Wearing red on Valentine’s Day is fun and easy, and the heart is central to the love and care given at Richard House, so what better way to show your support."

"Even a small contribution can make a difference to life-limited and life-threatened children and their families."

The visit included photographs and autograph signing session with staff and the auction of an England shirt signed by Joe.

Alison Halsey, KPMG Partner said: "KPMG was delighted to welcome Joe Cole in support of our relationship with Richard House. Richard House is a clear role model in providing hospice care for children in their hour of need.

"Joe Cole is also an amazing role model in linking success in his professional sporting life to assisting children who really need help. His example will be an inspiration to us in our efforts to support this fantastic hospice."

Richard House will be running its Wear Red campaign again in 2009. If you would like to know more please contact the Corporate Partnerships Team on 020 7540 0215.
