Richard House Children’s Hospice is asking for members of the local community to come forward and take on the role of ambassador.
We need confident and enthusiastic volunteers to go out into their local area to talk about our work on our behalf.
If you:
• Are comfortable speaking to groups of people
• Have a spare evening or two a month
• Want to help your local Children's Hospice
…then you should come along to our information evenings on 20th and 21st May 2008.
Community Fundraising Manager Viv Talbot said: “Richard House depends on its local supporters to raise the £1.8million we need to help life-limited children and their families.
“Unfortunately our fundraising team is quite small and we cannot attend all of the amazing events our supporters run on our behalf or speak to all of the groups who want to find out more about the hospice.
“We would love some new ambassadors to come on board and help spread the word about Richard House and its work.”
If you think you could give a little of your time to talk to people and groups about Richard House then sign up for one of our information evenings.
You could be our voice in the community.
