Joe Cole Drops In

Football legend Joe Cole made dreams come true for children and their families when he visited Richard House in December.

The appearance was part of Joe’s ongoing support given to the Association of Children’s Hospices (ACH) from Team England. The Chelsea and England midfielder is also a patron of Richard House.

The visit included a tour of the hospice where he met with children, parents and care staff. Joe gave out Christmas presents to the children and their siblings and also participated in a Christmas craft activity.

Joe said: “I love visiting Richard House - it’s an amazing, inspiring place. The care and support they provide to children who are not expected to reach adulthood – and their families – is priceless.

“I hope my visit will help raise awareness of Richard House's unique work – and the fact that there are 41 other children’s hospice services across the UK helping thousands of life-limited children and their families each year.”
