Over the last year, the hospice has benefited from a number of fantastic volunteer efforts from our corporate supporters.
Two teams from Deloitte helped out in our charity shops, packing up linen kindly donated by the Marriott Hotel in Canary Wharf which boosted the shops’ turnover during the summer.
Pairs of volunteers from Dresdner Kleinwort’s graduate scheme helped out at our charity shops in Hornchurch and Dagenham.
And our gardens received some much needed weeding and planting thanks to staff from Barclays in Stratford, British Gas, Field Fisher Waterhouse and the law firm Weil, Gotchal and Manges.
Volunteering is a great way for staff to work together in making a valuable contribution to the hospice and the lives of our children and their families.
