Show a Little Love

Show a little love for Richard House Children's Hospice

We are looking for people to show, spread and share a little love this February.

Richard House is launching a week-long campaign called ‘Show a little love’, which kicks off on Saturday 4 February.

The event aims to raise awareness and money for the hospice which cares for children with life-limiting, life-threatening and complex health care conditions.

Ben Alonso, Richard House’s community fundraiser, added: “The great thing about ‘Show a little love’ is that everyone can take part, both young and old.

“The campaign is a great opportunity to raise awareness, fundraise and celebrate our work. There are lots of ways you can get involved– how much is up to you, but the more we all do, the greater the impact we can make.”

We would like people to join the campaign by taking a picture of themselves holding a heart and posting them on the hospice’s Facebook page www.facebook.com/richardhousech.

Businesses, schools, clubs and individuals are being urged to hold fun red-themed days and wacky events. School children are being asked to raid their wardrobes and dig out red garments to wear for a day.

You can tell people how you are showing a little love by posting on Twitter using the following message; ‘I am #showingalittlelove for @richardhousech by.....’
