Arts2gether Family Music Day

Families are invited to take part in an exciting day of music with Trevor Watkis trio on Saturday 17 may.

Trevor is an accomplished jazz pianist, band leader and composer who has been playing professionally in the UK since 1987.

He has worked with some of the worlds' greatest jazz musicians such as Mulgrew Miller, betty carter and Jean Toussaint.

The Arts2gether workshop will focus on a melody of three themes: the breath, colours and sounds of the city.

Participants will investigate the rhythm of their breath, relating colours to sounds and how we are surrounded by music in everyday life.
