Access to Richard House Children’s Hospice is from Richard House Drive, just off of Stansfeld Road, which runs between Tollgate Road and Royal Albert Dock.
Please note Richard House Drive does not feature on some older A-Z maps.
By car:
Richard House is a few minutes drive from the A406 (North Circular), linked to the M25, M11, M1, M3 and M4. Turn off and head into the City and Docklands along Royal Albert Way, signed for ExCel. Richard House Drive is the first proper left turn off Stansfeld Road, which is the first exit off Royal Albert roundabout. There is free parking at the hospice.
By bus:
Catch the 300: Canning Town via Plaistow, Prince Regent, Stansfeld Road, East Beckton, Vicarage Lane, Park Avenue, and East Ham Station.
Alternatively catch the 376: East Ham via Plashet Grove, Upton Park, New General Hospital, Prince Regent DLR, Stansfeld Road, Cyprus, Winsor Park Estate, East Beckton District Centre (SEL)
By DLR and foot:
Richard House is about five minutes walk from the Royal Albert DLR station. From the station platform, turn back on yourself and join a footpath which leads to a pedestrian crossing across the main road. Once you have crossed the road (Royal Albert Way) walk down Stansfield Road (First exit from roundabout) and turn second left down Richard House Drive - we are at the bottom of that road.
